Rose Diamond has many years of experience in educational planning, design, and facilities management. She has worked with three of the nation’s largest school districts. As Sr. Director of Planning and Development for the New York City Department of Education, Rose created and managed a $7 billion, five-year capital program. With Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Rose served as Chief Facilities Officer, overseeing a $3.7 billion capital program that included the addition of 90,000 new seats. Most recently, Rose consulted with Los Angeles Unified School District on all aspects of its capital program and Memphis City Schools on the development of its five-year capital plan. Rose received her BS and MS in Education, as well as a BS and a B.Arch. in Architecture, from City College of New York.

Toni Dunbar is a career educator whose accomplishment span more than 40 years of combined classroom and administrative experience. As a teacher in both elementary and secondary public schools, Toni worked with children from all cultural and socio-economic backgrounds and communities. She has also been an adjunct professor at California State University, La Verne University, and Pepperdine University in the areas of Teacher Development and Training, Administrative Leadership, and Literacy. Toni has served as a Literacy and School Reform Curricular Consultant to school districts and State Departments of Education across the country including the states of Washington, California, Arizona, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Mexico, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Colorado, and Utah. At the Miami Dade County School District, she served as Deputy Superintendent of Curriculum / Instruction and School Improvement. Libby Gandy is a skilled educator with extensive experience helping students improve their academic performance. For the past seven years, she served as the Director of Academic Intervention Services with the Rochester City School District where she developed and implemented extended learning programs for students in grades Pre-K – 12. Program successes included significant increases in reading and math scores, as well as an increase in student participation that nearly quadrupled in a 4-year period. Prior to her tenure as an administrator, Libby was a reading specialist, teaching students in grades 6-8. As an Instructor at SUNY Brockport, she worked with EOP students in need of reading support. In addition, Libby was a pre-service instructor at SUNY Brockport and Nazareth College and supervised student teachers in their field placement. Libby received her Masters in Reading Education from Nazareth College in 1988.

Most recently, he was a strategist and advocate for high school transformation in North Carolina through an effort funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Previously, Joseph was chief communications officer for Miami-Dade County Public Schools working with then-Superintendent Rudy Crew on his ambitious reform agenda. While with Achieve, Inc., Joe had a key role in launching the American Diploma Project and organizing two National Education Summits of governors and CEOs. He was a successful consultant in Washington, D.C., with clients including the National Center on Education and the Economy, the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans, New American Schools, Success for All and the federal and Maryland state education departments. Joe started his career as an award-winning journalist covering education for three newspapers on Time magazine’s Top 10 list. He received a BA from Harvard University.

Cathleen Healy is a seasoned communications and marketing executive in the education field. As the Marketing Officer for Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Cathleen successfully led the development and implementation of the district’s strategic marketing plan and the award-winning It Takes branding campaign. She has held senior communications executive positions with The Council for Basic Education, the National Association of Partners in Education, and USA Football, an organization created by the NFL and NFL Players Association. At the U.S. Department of Education, Cathleen worked closely with Secretary Rod Paige identifying outreach opportunities and establishing strategic partnerships. As a member of the strategic planning committee, she was involved in the development of the Department’s strategic plan that received recognition by the Office of Management and Budget. Cathleen graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Business Administration from Salem College in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Terry Hofer has deep experience in the education field as an elementary teacher, middle school teacher, elementary principal, and district level administrator. A hallmark of his decades of commitment to educational excellence has been his role in championing student learning and parent involvement. Previously, Terry oversaw federal grant programs totaling in excess of $32 million annually, led the effort to launch two college preparatory high schools in partnership with The College Board, opened three Parent Information and Student Registration Centers, and created a framework for Rochester School District’s SES program, which was featured in a U.S. Department of Education publication. A first generation college student, Terry‘s dissertation on supplemental education services informs and inspires Global Partnership Schools’ SES program and operations. Terry received an Ed.D. in Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher College.

Eliza Holcomb has a distinguished career in human resources. For the last seven years, she has been Senior Search Consultant for the Connecticut Association for Boards of Education (CABE), where she recruited superintendents and other key administrators for urban and suburban schools. Before joining, CABE, Eliza’s tenure with Universal Studios began when she served as Employment Manager at MCA/Universal City Studios. She then was appointed Chief of Human Resources Executive for Universal Studios where she managed a department of more than 40 employees and directed the Managers of Employment, Benefits and Training and Development for Universals’ Orlando, Florida theme park. Prior to joining Universal, Eliza was an Employment Recruiter at CBS, Inc. Her professional affiliations include her role as President-elect of the National Association of Superintendent Searchers. Eliza received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.

Barbara Jarzyniecki has more than 30 years of experience as an expert communicator working in an urban school district. Most recently, Barbara served as Chief of Communications for the Rochester school district. There, she handled all major media relations and event functions for the District and 60 school sites. Amongst her accomplishments was the design of a state-of-the-art Customer Service Center working with parents and members of the community to create a strong partnership to support student success. During her tenure, Barbara was highly successful in creating campaigns and outreach initiatives to generate public awareness and support for schools. Her community commitment includes her volunteer work for a number of non-profit organizations as well as her service on a variety of Boards associated with communications and development.

Marlaina Palmeri has more than 37 years experience as an award-winning educator. She has been recognized for her innovative methodologies to improve school performance, particularly in high poverty schools. Marlaina’s efforts in Rochester, New York, led to her school receiving the National Title 1 Distinguished School of Mastery Award, and she was named Distinguished Educator of the Year by the New York State Education Department. At Edison Learning, Marlaina gained a reputation as a leading authority on successful charter schools, and she was responsible for the oversight and management of school achievement, hiring, supervision, operations, fiscal management, and client relationship. She received her Bachelors and Masters degree from SUNY and her doctoral degree from the University of Rochester. Marlaina also studied abroad as a guest educator in England, Denmark, Sweden and Russia.

Marcie Roberts many accomplishments as an educator include her role as Chief Executive Officer of Education Enterprise of New York. She has also served as Executive Director of The Norman Howard School, a school for students with learning disabilities. Marcie also founded EnCompass: Resources for Learning, a community education organization which provides programs and services for some 1,000 individuals that struggle to learn. Earlier, Marcie collaborated with The Norman Howard School to found The Sands Academy, a K-6 independent school for children who have language and learning delays. Marcie serves on the board of each of these organizations and the Education Enterprise of New York Foundation. She is also a board member of the New York Association of Independent Schools where she also served as Director of Disability Resources and Services. Marcie received her Masters in Education from the University of Pittsburgh.

Sai Tata brings more than 28 years of corporate expertise and educational prowess to his position. Previously, he was CEO of Aga Khan Education Service, Kenya (AKES, K) for nearly four years and also served as Regional Coordinator for AKES in Africa, which operates 25 schools on the continent. While with AKES, Sai was also involved in conceptualization of Aga Khan Academies, a global project to establish 25 world-class schools with a capital outlay of more than $1 billion. For over a decade, he was involved in establishing several schools and a hospital in the Middle East, India, and the UK for GEMS. In addition, Sai was Head of Projects and Operations. An accomplished financial professional, Sai’s accomplishments include his role as Finance Manager for Coats in India for 5 years. Sai received his bachelor degrees in Commerce from Andhra University and his Law degree from S.P. University.

At Norwalk Public Schools in Connecticut, Ralph was Director of Technology where his responsibilities included Technology Education Supervisor, Business Education Supervisor, Family and Consumer Sciences Supervisor, Computer Science Supervisor, Networking – IT Department Director, and Instructional Specialist for Educational Technology. He has also served on the faculty of the University of New Haven as an instructor in Educational Technology and was Educational Technology Coordinator at New Haven Public Schools. His career includes his role as an Educational Technology Consultant for Imperial Software in New York. In addition, he was a classroom teacher for 9 years in Stamford, Connecticut. Ralph received a BA from DePaul University, an MS from the University of Bridgeport and a 6th year in Educational Administration from Southern Connecticut State University.
