Transforming Schools in Colorado

Global Partnership Schools, with the Consortium on Reading Excellence (CORE), has been named by the Colorado Department of Education as an educational service provider eligible to assist with school transformation and turnaround efforts statewide. The company is one of only three providers approved to help schools with all five areas of expertise sought by the state (Academics, Learning Environment, Operations, Leadership and Planning).

“Global Partnership Schools is committed to providing the highest quality service to the Colorado schools with which it partners,” said CEO Manny Rivera. “We will deliver effective supports that engage students, enhance teaching, and turn around schools.”

Global Partnership Schools and CORE will deliver support to struggling schools that introduces high expectations for school performance, intensive on-the-ground coaching, high-leverage educational strategies, and structures to promote effective teaching and learning.

“We strongly encourage schools to avail themselves of the providers and the research-based, proven methods they offer,” said Commissioner of Education Dwight D. Jones. “The department is committed to partnering with schools and districts in the development of comprehensive turnaround plans and to assist in the effort to improve student achievement for all. This is urgent work.”

Global Partnership Schools will meet with Colorado school leaders to discuss its approaches and expertise on February 8-9 during a two-day fair hosted by the state education department.
